DataKitchen is leading the DataOps movement to incorporate Agile Software Development, DevOps, and manufacturing-based statistical process control into analytics and data management. DataKitchen is for information technology (IT), data warehousing, data science and analytic teams who know that in order to meet the needs of their business, data analytics has to be ten times more nimble and robust than it is today.

Director of Customer Success (Cambridge, MA)

The success of DataKitchen’s customers is largely dependent on the ability of our champions to drive change in their organization. It’s more than just implementing our DataOps software, it is helping people manage and successfully drive change in their organization. DataKitchen is seeking a skilled leader who will be responsible for owning the relationship with specific product customers. This role includes responsibilities for product implementation Customer Success activities (e.g., on-boarding, support, services, adoption, advocacy, training, retention, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

  • Consistently drive DataKitchen DataOps product implementation and adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with F500 customers ensuring that DataKitchen solutions support the ongoing needs and objectives for each customer.
  • Consult customers to define and achieve best practices with DataOps and their business goal(s)
  • Engage in consistent, proactive client meetings to positively impact customer loyalty and revenue growth
  • Partner effectively with internal teams on driving growth and addressing customer concerns efficiently and decisively
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of both the DataKitchen product and our customers' specific use of the software
  • Define and deliver client success plansManage all customer information and interactions utilizing HubSpot and JIRA to ensure seamless reporting and knowledge sharing
  • Partner with sales to close large cross-sell opportunities. Partner with developers to implement solutions or resolve issues.
  • Work hands-on with a number of customers, then grow the Client Success team over time

Qualifications that are a plus:

  • Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt to audience needs.
  • Demonstrated success leading service organizations with responsibility for customer onboarding, issue resolution, product support, and post-sale account management.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
  • Strong administrative and management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in Enterprise accounts, understands how large companies operate and purchase
  • Superior customer service skills - the ability to be empathetic, compassionate, responsive, resourceful and solution-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
  • Experience in recruiting and hiring in a fast paced high growth .
  • Experience developing products in analytics, business rules or data science is required.
  • Technical skills in data analytics, including experience in SQL, enterprise reporting, and/or data science.

Sales Executive (Cambridge, MA)

We are seeking an experienced, accomplished sales professional who can consistently achieve sales targets and thrive in a startup atmosphere. The role will be critical to revenue growth, require core business development capabilities, and include a path to sales leadership positions.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Meet or exceed annual sales quota of $1.5 to $2.0 million on a regular basis.
  • Develop and deliver written and verbal sales presentations that address particular customer business needs, and propose corresponding DataKitchen solutions.
  • Must be a quick thinker, aggressive, and willing to think out of the box to accomplish goals. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to your sales effort and challenge yourself with sales initiative and innovation. Must be creative, persistent, and possess problem-solving skills that avoid project stalls.
  • Collaborate with a number of DataKitchen departments, including Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management to develop sales strategies.
  • Execute a proven sales process that includes solution demonstrations and addresses multiple DataOps use case scenarios. Dialog with Senior Management executives is required.
  • Execute sales strategies and contribute information during the process related to progress, objections and success.
  • Manage a complex, consultative, enterprise software sales cycle.
  • Demonstrate ability to prospect, cold call and build relationships with senior level individuals across multiple verticals in the Fortune 2000.
  • Maximize product use and new product revenue at existing installed accounts and other new accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction levels
  • This role will require some travel (25%).

Qualifications (Required):

  • Proven, successful track record (5 – 7 years) of software sales to Fortune 2000 companies
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving 100%+ of quota for past 3-5 years.
  • Ability to absorb and understand technical products
  • Proven track record of penetrating, understanding and managing large, complex organizations
  • Individual must be highly self-motivated and possess outstanding communication skills
  • Experience in the data management and analytics markets is desired
  • BS degree is preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience selling Data Management, Science and Analytic solutions.
  • Knowledge of data management products, operations, and terminology.
  • Experience in startup or early stage companies

Senior / Principal Software Engineer .. Multiple Positions Open! (Cambridge, MA)

As a member of the DataKitchen product development team, you will get a true startup experience that includes developing product features (of course) on our web-based DataOps product, supporting sales through Proof of Value projects, working with company founders and customers, enhancing the scalability and reliability of the product, and contributing to our continuously improving Agile development process. The successful candidate will have top technical skills, excellent attention to detail and follow-up, and the ability to self-manage.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development experience with a record of delivering successful products
  • Python or comparable programming language
  • Server side development: implementing services and distributed back ends
  • Ability to write well tested code
  • An Agile mindset

Qualifications that are a plus:

  • Cloud platform experience (e.g. AWS)
  • Docker experience
  • Mesos or Kubernetes usage
