DataKitchen provides the world’s first DataOps platform for data-driven enterprises, enabling them to support data analytics that can be quickly and robustly adapted to meet evolving requirements. DataKitchen is leading the DataOps movement to incorporate Agile Software Development, DevOps, and manufacturing-based statistical process control into analytics and data management. DataKitchen is for information technology (IT), data warehousing, data science and analytic teams who know that in order to meet the needs of their business, data analytics has to be ten times more nimble and robust than it is today.

Description: As the first full time sales hire, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will work closely with the founding team’s executives in researching, identifying and initially qualifying sales opportunities. The SDR plays a critical role in building sales pipeline and collaborating with the founding team to identify viable sales opportunities and contribute to DataKitchen's revenue growth.

Responsibilities: Focus on identifying new sales opportunities!

  • Research and pre-qualify prospective organizations to build your pipeline
  • Identify decision-makers, and key influencers
  • Conduct high volume prospecting (50-60 calls, emails or Tweets per day) to discover sales opportunities
  • Gain commitment from prospects to attend a brief web-based product demo/meeting, or other calls to action
  • Collaborate with your team to manage the sales process, and close business.
  • Become a customer pain expert and develop product mastery
  • Consistently meet and exceed goals

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to be in a fast-paced sales environment
  • A fun and engaging personality
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about what you do, enthusiastic, competitive, disciplined, self-motivated, hands-on, with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely; in person and on the phone
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion, and negotiating skills
  • Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
  • Excellent listener, ability learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent; Communications, Business, preferred, but not necessary
  • 1-2 years’ work experience as an SDR (this is not an entry-level position)
  • Strong web and computer skills: MS Office, Salesforce.com desirable
  • Prior experience in a rapidly growing technology company


Description: As a member of the DataKitchen Platform Development Team, you will help build all layers of our web-based analytic operations platform. This role involves designing and implementing core python, angular, javascript in modern cloud based stack. You will work closely with company founders and our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Great Python and AngularJS/Javascript skills.
  • 5-10+ years software development experience with a record of delivering successful platforms.
  • Some experience in a cloud first environment like AWS is a plus.
  • Experience in Docker and devops.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative work style.
