Senior / Principal QA Automation Engineer (Cambridge, MA)

As a member of the DataKitchen product development team, you will enhance our automated integration, performance, and functional tests. The focus will be on test automation, both back-end, CLI, and GUI to complement our suite of existing tests. The successful candidate will have top technical skills, excellent attention to detail and follow-up, and the ability to self-manage.

Site Reliability Engineer (Cambridge, MA)

As a member of the DataKitchen product development team, your job is to make sure our production system is up and running and healthy. You assignment is to bring our development operations to the next level by streamlining our pipeline from development to production. You will also work with the development team to enhance our production monitoring and auto scaling capabilities. The successful candidate will have top technical skills, excellent attention to detail and follow-up, and the ability to self-manage.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years continuous integration build systems (e.g., Gitlab CI, Hudson, Jenkins, RPM)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancers, high availability architecture, zero downtime production deployments
  • Version Control (Gitlab, Github)
  • Shell scripting and Linux administration
  • Deployment scripting systems (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • An Agile mindset
  • Cloud platform experience (e.g. AWS)

Senior / Principal Software Engineer (Cambridge, MA)

Data Engineer (Cambridge, MA)

You should have superior SQL development experience along with the ability to interface with customers (though there will be no significant travel required). This position requires top technical skills, business communication skills, excellent attention to detail and follow-up, and the ability to self-manage. You will get exposure as you work directly with our customers to tackle tough business challenges.

Specific Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • We are looking for "full stack" Data Engineers to work with our customers
    • derive requirements from the customer
    • work with raw data
    • design a schema/modeling
    • transform data
    • write automated tests
    • manage deployment and operations
  • Your work will be 80% coding, primarily SQL. Some Python coding and experience building Docker containers is a plus as is AWS and Amazon Redshift experience
  • You will work with a team of world-class data engineers on challenging data
  • We work in weekly sprints and you own the results of your work

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced, accomplished business development professional that can consistently achieve sales targets and thrive in a startup atmosphere. The role will be critical to revenue growth, require core business development capabilities, and include a path to outside sales or other leadership positions.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Primary focus on booking first meetings via marketing lead generation activity follow-up (webinars, events, web, etc.). This includes multiple emails and phone calls.
  • Attend conferences and staff the DataKitchen booth.
  • Targeted outreach to surface and execute upon opportunities at high-priority accounts
  • Collaboratively work with Sales and Marketing to surface key insight that will optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Occasionally lead first calls with key prospects and qualify opportunities and prospects for field sales follow up
  • Creating email content and CRM sequences and workflows
  • Ability to work independently and as the team grows, potentially manage others

Qualifications (Required)

  • Previous selling experience (at least 1-2 years of B2B software preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and high activity levels
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • High energy, driven attitude
  • Comfortable and flexible in an evolving, growing start-up work environment
  • Experience working in a technology-based organization
  • Experience using a CRM system, preferably HubSpot
  • Ability to work from home some percentage of the time
